Twins DNA Testing

Reasons for ordering a Twin Zygosity Test

Normally the main reasons for purchasing a DNA twins test is for  curiosity purposes. The parents of the twins or the twins themselves will be curious to confirm biologically if they are identical or otherwise. The information can, however, also have more serious applications as in the case of medical requirements such as organ donations whereby compatibility of the organs will of course be enhanced if it is from an identical twin.
