Large increases in cross-border DNA testing have been experienced by DNA paternity screening company easyDNA as they continue to expand their international operations. Toronto, CANADA - 01/09/2008 Although most DNA relationship testing involves people who live in the same country, this need not necessarily be the case. International DNA paternity testing firm easyDNA has noticed a significant increase in the number of tests carried out involving people from different countries. This cross-border testing has become more apparent as the company has continued to expand internationally, and the question is whether or not it is the expansion of their global reach that has led to the greater frequency of this type of testing. Sales and Marketing Director Andrew Alexander has no doubts on the matter. He says "The growth we are seeing in this type of cross-border testing is commensurate with our expansion into an increasing number of different countries. There appears to be little doubt that our increasing global expansion has generated confidence in our customers of our ability to handle this type of work. It has always been there, but now people are able to have it carried out accurately and quickly. "We now have local offices in 14 different countries, and clients know that they can send their samples to their local office and get the results a lot quicker from easyDNA than from any other testing company. Not only that, but we can get the kits to them a lot quicker, sometimes by means of a next day service. EasyDNA are now better placed to handle this type of cross-border coordination than most other businesses, and we can provide them in the client's own language." Because of the increase in their international reach, easyDNA has formulated procedures to ensure that each order is dealt with quickly and accurately, and with the maximum amount of security. Each sample is collated and referenced, and subjects are informed when their sample has been received. No test is started until all samples associated with it have been received. In some cases there might be several people involved in determining relationships. Although most cross-border testing involves samples from only two countries, easyDNA have carried out analysis on DNA samples from as many as four countries from three different continents. They are now experienced in this type of work, and have gained the confidence of their clients in carrying it out. |
