Our DNA Testing Laboratory

easyDNA operates through a DNA testing laboratory that is specalised in DNA profiling and is internationally accredited in this field. All testing is peformed at a state of the art laboratory operating through the most advanced DNA testing equipment and systems, and manned by a team of specialists highly experienced in this field.

To become accredited, a laboratory has to pass frequent and rigorous inspections of the complete testing procedures. The stringent standards that have to be followed ensure that the testing is being performed properly and accurately. The laboratory must also regularly participate in external proficiency testing programmes to retain its accreditation status and prove its competence. It is also important to note that for a DNA test to be usable in court, it normally a requirement for the testing to have been performed by an accredited paternity testing laboratory.

Our partner laboratory has been awarded the ISO17025 accreditation which is a rigorous quality assurance system compliant with international ISO quality standards. All processes are subject to regular independent external monitoring ensuring results of the highest standard for our clients. The laboratory is participates in the AABB Parentage Testing Accreditation Program. Through this program, aaccredited laboratories have passed a rigorous review and inspection of their testing processes and laboratory to insure that tests are being done accurately and thoroughly. Accredited laboratories also participate in proficiency tests and are re-inspected bi-annually.

DNA Testing Quality Assurance Programme

To ensure the accuracy and quality of our DNA test results, a Quality Assurance Programme has been implemented to cover all our DNA testing. Through this programme, all DNA samples are processed twice - in this way we double check our results to ensure with confidence that the result you have been sent are correct.
